Michigan Exceeds Standards :)

As you may know, I am a HUGE Michigan fan. Following week one of the NCAA season, Michigan is tied for first with LSU, in the national rankings. I am thrilled to hear this. Junior Nicole Artz has so far fulfilled her roles as a leader of the Wolverine pack. With new additions to the team, Emma Mclean, and Olivia Karas… Michigan is just packed with talent on every event this year. Some key contributors to team Michigan are: freshman Olivia Karas. Olivia has exploded on to the scene and within the first 3 meets of the season, she already has a couple od titles under her belt including an all around title she won against Ohio State just earlier today. Another key contributor to the Michigan team is the already very well-known, Nicole Artz. Nicole has impacted the team in so many ways during her career at Michigan and I’m sure she still has lots more to show. She has won the all around title at 2 of the 3 meets this season. She is very strong and consistent on both beam and floor but shows talent on all 4 events. Talia Chiarelli, also a junior, has competed on 3 events throughout all of her years at Michigan. She is strong on vault, beam, and floor and can put up scores of 9.9+ on all of these events. Some other honorable mentions are: senior Briley Casanova, Sophomore Brianna Brown, and Senior Austin Sheppard. Michigan is strong on beam and floor where they have many great athletes, however they have great talent on vault and floor, as well. The men also have a very strong gymnastics team and I will be doing an article on them soon. Good luck to Michigan in their upcoming meets this 2016 season! 🙂
